How can I get books that are stored in the Robot?

When you find a book in the library's online catalog or by using the search bar on the library homepage, books or other items that are stored in the Robot will have "UMKC Nichols Library Robot" listed under Location. This is where you will see location information when you find a book using the search bar on the library homepage. Click "View Catalog Record" to go to the page where Robot requesting is available:

Click the gray Pick-Up @ Miller Nichols button. Type in your name and click Submit. Library staff will have your Robot items ready and waiting for you at the first floor Service Desk at Miller Nichols Library within about 15 minutes during normal business hours. After-hours requests will be ready the next morning.

To have a book that's stored in the Robot delivered to you at another location besides Miller Nichols Library, use the Request system in the library catalog as you would use it to request any item to be delivered to your favorite pick up location.
